Notes:
1) Being able to wear a uniform is a great privilege and consequently it needs to be worn correctly at all times. It is something to be proud of bringing credit to both your Squadron and the ATC. Therefore, when an item of uniform becomes too small or worn it is the Cadet’s responsibility to visit the Squadron stores to obtain a free replacement. Cadets are reminded that they are expected to personally undertake the ironing and sewing aspects of their Uniform care, and not to get mum or dad to do it!
2) All items of uniform, especially the beret and jumper, must have your name written inside it. Items found without names in may be returned to stores and you will be billed for a replacement.
3) Wearing Uniform. Uniform is to be worn on official ATC activities only. Complete uniform only is to be worn: if an item is missing or damaged, you should attend in civilian clothing so that you can exchange or replace the item(s). DO NOT WEAR PARTIAL UNIFORM.
You will need to purchase your own pair of shoes to wear with your uniform.
You can get them from many of the Surplus stores listed on the LINKS page - or many shoe shops do shoes which are similar.
Male Cadets should wear shoes with a defined toe cap and female shoes do not have a toe cap and are smooth leather all round.
