Squadron Leadership Course

1074 Squadron is currently in the process of phasing out the Squadron NCO course, and in its place we are introducing the new Squadron Leadership Course!

This course will mean that no matter how old, or how long the cadet has been in the ACO they have an equal chance of being successful in applying for the course as long as we see potential.

Unlike the NCO course candidates will be required to apply for this course, through the application process which will include:

- Application Form

- Board Interview

- 10 min Presentation

There will be a limited number of places on the course in order to give each of the candidates the best chance of succeeding and consequently places will be offered on merit; going from work they do on squadron and the above steps.

Being on the course does not automatically mean that the candidate is being considered for promotion although all future promotions will be given priority to those on the course.
